What is Home?

Home is love, it is family, memories, and friends. Home is love, soft and friendly. Home is warm, it is where memories are made, and that is what makes a house a home. It is happy, cozy, and loving. It is the feeling of joy and freedom where you can be whoever you want to be. Everyone should have a loving home. Home is family, their friendly faces smiling at me with excited eyes. Supportive people surrounding you. Home is in the support of family, their love and kindness. Every family should have a home. Home is memories, games and friends. My memories of sleepovers and snacks, baking delicious cakes and the smell of delicious food. Memories of laughing and fun. Homes are built by memories. Home is friends, happy and funny. Playing charades and laughing until we can’t breathe anymore. Their smiles that can make anyone happy is home for me. Home is with friends. All this describes home for me, but Habitat for Humanity is helping others build homes in houses for themselves. After all, as long as you are free, with family and memories, you are home.
