Home is not a House

Home is not a house. Home is not 4 walls and a roof. It’s not doors and windows. It is not what you have, it’s who you are with. Home is Family, Love, Laughter, Trust, Honesty. A place where you can play games, make meals together and create new memories and traditions. It’s a place where you can be yourself and have fun with friends. A home is a place where you can feel safe and loved. Home also means being a part of a team, like being on a hockey team. My team supported me and protected me, just like family would. You might not have a the same story about home, but Habitat for Humanity can help you build a story like mine.
