Home is Safe

You suddenly open your eyes from your slumber. A loud bang awakened you. You look out the window to see that almost the whole neighbourhood is destroyed! You might be thinking, wow that's not very nice, but it's what happens almost everyday in many places around the world! Well something along the lines of it, but my point still stands! This is sadly happening in Canada, and around the entire world. And I know that this is supposed to be just about our home or province or Canada in itself, but that doesn't mean that someone, right now, isn’t fearing for their lives! A home doesn't need to be perfect, but you should always feel safe! I found a quote that pretty much sums up my entire argument: “A house is made of walls and beams; a home is built with love and dreams. Home isn't a place. It's a feeling of safety and love.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson. Everybody probably said something along the lines of this, but that's how you know it's true. Even if we sometimes take it for granted, Home is safety, and love.
