Home

My home is a beautiful place full of smiling and laughing family. Here is a tour, through the senses, of my home. My home smells like a stinky older brother's tennis shoe, and at the same time, it smells like baked goods right out of the oven. To me, my home tastes like stir fry, with roasted cashews sprinkled on top. Home looks like birds soaring over an open meadow, and geese swimming in an open pond, a trail of fluffy, yellow goslings swimming small, cute strokes. To me, home sounds like family sitting down around the dinner table, speaking kind words to each other. My home feels like a place to rest, and be sheltered from the cold wind and rain just outside my door. A house is just a patch of bricks on the earth's surface, whereas a home is a place full of warm hugs and cherished memories. And yet, all of these things barely come close to describing what home is to me, because home is such a great thing that everyone, no matter who they are, what their personality is, they deserve to have a home.
