Home

Home. Home for me isn’t just a house. It's my family. For some people home is a house, for others it’s their bed. Everybody has their own representation of home. But for me home is my family. Since my mom has cancer, home means so much more knowing I have a limited time with the people I love. I know some of you might feel super bad for me and my mom. Even though it’s horrible, my mom is doing ok. Which is why home is my family to me. My mom makes the BEST soup and that reminds me of home. My mom always watches movies with me and that reminds me of home. My dad always takes me out to ice cream and that reminds me of home. Both of my parents give the best hugs and kisses and that reminds me of home. All of this could one day not exist. Which makes home to me SO much more meaningful. That safe, comfortable, happy place I call home would never be the same without my family.
