Thank You

A home is more than just a house. It is a place you can feel safe. A place where you can be happy, make memories, and laugh. A home is the kind of place where we can express ourselves and our emotions. It’s an amazing area where we can hope and have faith in. No matter how hard it’ll be, you will always have a home to go to. When I think of the word home, a thousand memories pop up. The soft touch of my cat rubbing her head against mine, the delicious smell of food filling my kitchen, my cats greeting me when I get back from school. I feel at home. I may move houses, but my home will always stay with me. I would like to thank the Meaning of Home for helping give everyone a chance of experiencing the warmth and safety of a home. I thank everybody who’s helping and participating in this program, because not only are we helping those in need, but we’re also acknowledging the fact the simple word “home” has a much bigger meaning than it seems. If we continue to do things like this, everyone will be making a difference. A great one. Everyone will have a place to call home with warmth, comfort and memories. Homes are a need. Not a want, so we should keep doing programs like this and continue helping others. Everybody deserves a home. No matter what. Thank you, Meaning of Home.
