The Meaning of Home

Home is sitting on the couch and watching a movie with my family all nice and cozy in blankets and pillows with steaming hot coco in my hands. Home is laying in m y bed talking to Layne and Nevaeh on messenger kids with my cat laying on my feet with a snack like Oreo cookies and milk from the fridge. Home is reading a book or a drawing or two the texture of the soft paper on my skin and the feeling of calmness soothing my soul. Home is when my mom is cooking dinner and the nice smell from the kitchen to my nose where I can taste the love that she puts in it the taste of nicely salted homemade broccoli with the love that comes from her heart. Home is coming home from school seeing your family members and your pets giving love to them and letting them give love to you letting the joy from your heart flow family and friends is all you need to make you happy. Home is calmness entering your head and letting your bad thoughts out with love from your family or friends you can be strong and positive and well. Home is somewhere you can share your feelings without anyone laughing at you or making fun of you where you can feel comfortable and safe at the same time.
