Home Memories Equal The Best Memories

What home means to me is memories that I have had with my family. Some memories that I have had with my family have stuck in me and will be stuck there forever. These memories will stay with me forever even if I lose something important to me like a house, friend, or family member. The memory that I will tell you about today is Christmas Day last year. I woke up at exactly 4:47am and could not fall back asleep, I was so excited. After 2 hours in my warm, cozy bed, I could finally get up, but I still had to wait for another hour to go downstairs and look under our emerald Christmas tree. This second part of this memory I will tell you about is when I got to go downstairs that morning. It looked so magical. This is the second part of my Christmas memory, when we got to open presents! Finally my family and I went downstairs, overexcited as we walked down looking at the magical tree. We had been waiting for this moment for forever. But we couldn’t open presents yet, so first we had to eat breakfast. The breakfast included cinnamon buns and cream cheese icing. Yum. Finally we got to open presents, we opened our stockings first, then we got to open other presents from Santa and my parents. It was so fun. Lastly I hope for Habitat For Humanity to help 1000’s of families get comfortable and affordable homes. I want people to help Habitat For Humanity in any way possible, by donating or helping build homes. I want for Habitat For Humanity to be very successful and make a house feel like a home for many people. That's why home means memories to me.
