Home is like... Home is like the rising sun that shines onto your body, the first to greet you in the morning, filling you with joy and bright hopes for the day. Home is like a blanket. If you don’t have a blanket when sleeping, you feel like you are vulnerable. The blanket represents you and your home. You feel that you are safe in it. Home is like an evening meal, something you come home to everyday after a long day in the cold. The mouth watering smell of a pizza in the oven, the calming scent of hot chocolate or the smell of white rice ready to enjoy. Home is like a school, a place where you learned your first letters, wrote your first words, and shared your first story with your family. Home is like a family, the people you know best and the ones you love the most. It doesn’t matter where you come from or what you do, without a family, a home is just an empty space.
