Meaning of Home

Home is more than a place, it’s a feeling. You will be loved no matter who or what you are or what happens. It would taste like a warm, soft chocolate chip cookie. Home is a safe and happy place, and you feel comfortable in your home. Usually with your family because they will love and protect you no matter what. With your family or at your home you would hear the laughter and joy of your family. People think there is absolutely no difference between a house and a home, but in this case, there is a HUGE difference. A house is a place that you live in. A home is your family because your family is filled with love for you, and you are filled with love for them. You also know that you are safe at all costs. In your home you feel special, welcomed, loved, and so much more! Just so you know if you have a house, you are very lucky. There are people out there living in tents and cars because they can’t afford a house. There are also people who are homeless asking for money because they can’t even afford any of those or any items to give them shelter or even apply for a job. This isn’t just here in Windsor, there are homeless people all around the world. And that’s why you should learn to be thankful for what you have. Just imagine going through all that trauma as a kid. But unfortunately, that is their home. It’s heartbreaking. That is why Habitat for Humanity is the best.
