Meaning of Home

When I think of home I think of safety. Maybe not when me and my siblings are arguing, but I feel safe there. When I'm in trouble or I'm scared I think of home. I feel like someone is always going to be there when I need them. Home is a four letter word just like love. My family cheers me up when I'm down. Even when my parents are mad at me I know there is a reason for it. Home is a place I can be myself. When I'm at home I don't have to act a certain way. I can watch movies and eat popcorn any way I want, and no one will care. I can be silly and artistic. You don't need walls or a floor to make up a home. To me you need a pinch of love, a dash of memories, and a quart of hope. My home is in Canada and I wouldn't sell it for any amount of money. “A house is made of walls and beams while a home is made of love and dreams.”
