What home means to me

Home is where you can cuddle up with a pet, where you can watch a movie with your loved ones and sit by the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate. A home is where you can feel safe and comfortable. Where you can be seen by loved ones. Where you make memories happen. If you think about a house, it is just a building, and a building can be anything with 4 walls and a roof. A house is really just a word. I am very fortunate because I am able to walk into my home and see all my dogs greet me at the door. I can get home from school and be blessed with snacks to fulfill my hunger. And every night at 5:00 I get an amazing dinner presented in front of me. If I am sick my family will tuck me in at night and care. I think everybody deserves a home, to make memories, to cuddle up with a pet and to have loved ones say nice and encouraging things when they're sad. Everyone deserves a home and I know that not everyone has a home but I hope if I win I will be very happy because I will be helping people in need. I don't care about the pizza and I don't care about the ipad/ tablet. Even if I don't win I will still be happy because I will still be donating a little money to help people in need.
