Meaning of Home

Meaning of Home By Elise My home is welcoming, kind, happy, loving and sometimes chaotic. My home is my happy place. I never feel alone at home. My home is where I make my memories. It is the place where my parents brought me home from the hospital; the place where I took my first steps and said my first words. [When I come home from school I feel relieved to be home. My home celebrates each other’s victories. My home is caring. At home I don't have to be what people want me to be and I can be myself. At home I always feel welcome and safe. In my home I feel free. My home makes me feel joyful. At home I know I am loved. At home I do not have to pretend how I am feeling. At home I have a bedroom. My bedroom is where I colour, sleep and play. At home I have two sisters. They are both loving and kind and sometimes loud. They are my best friends. At home I also have a cat. She’s not a normal cat. She is a hairless cat whose name is Zara and she is so cuddly. At home I have a mom and a dad. They are caring and kind-hearted. They teach me how to live a happy life. At my home we laugh a lot. Sometimes we laugh at each other and sometimes we laugh with each other. My home is not just a house. The meaning of home to me is family. My family is what I love most. My family means home to me.
