What home means to me

When people think of home you may say it’s a shelter to eat and survive but for me it is different. Home is the best place on the planet for me. At home I feel safe. My home reminds me of fresh baked cookies straight from the oven and the buttery smell of popcorn. I see myself constructing a cake in the kitchen in my house. We have many traditions at my house. My brother and I enjoy them. My favorite place in my house is my living room. Our family has hundreds of memories in my living room. At my house we have hundreds or even maybe thousands of activities. At my house when we lose power, we take it for granted. We gather a bunch of colorful lights and candles and have a mini dance party. At my house I see myself baking cookies in the oven. I also see myself eating cake at my dinner table at my parents or brother’s birthday. I feel myself hugging my parents, I smell fresh cookies in the oven, I taste pancakes with butter and syrup. I hear the chopping of lettuce in the kitchen. I see myself playing with my iPad in my room. Many people are homeless in the world. That is why I support Habitat for Humanity. If you don’t know what Habitat for Humanity It is a charity that gifts people or a family a brand-new house to live in. That is why Habitat for Humanity is the best charity in the world.
