What Home Feels Like Through A House Perspective

People have a bunch of ways to make their houses feel like homes. One way is by celebrating their own festivals! This is what many people consider to be the meaning of home. So let me tell you about the beautiful and amazing ways that people fill their cultures at home! During Diwali, people fill me up with laughter and conversations. Everyone gathers around the dining table and makes the special day more memorable together! During Chinese New Year, the aroma of freshly baked mooncakes fills me and attracts multiple people from around. At times like Chinese New Year, you can see bright lights from all the lanterns inside! On the Day of the Dead, families come together and paint beautiful sugar skulls with bright and dark colours. For dinner, people come around and remember the people that had once been a part of their festivals. On Christmas, people decorate their Christmas tree with lights and a star on top to make me more cozy and fun! On the morning of Christmas day, kids from all over the world open presents that are resting on the Christmas tree. The meaning of home for everyone is different, but one thing in common is making memories at your home through your culture. This is a short story about the meaning of home through different cultures around the world.
