A Safe Place Called Home

Many people think a home is a box with windows. Not exactly. A home is a place to make unforgettable memories with family, pets and friends. You don’t have to feel scared or afraid because you are always safe at home. At home you can just relax and be comfortable. But you cannot forget to take care of and love your home. Your home will always be filled with love from your family members. I love my family very much. Home is a wonderful feeling. If home were a sight, it would be my beautiful cat. I love her soft meow and her bright green eyes. She has always been there for me. If home were a taste, it would be my Nona’s ravioli and pasta. It's something I want to learn how to cook. If home were a smell, it would be the freshly baked cookies that me and dad make. If home were something to listen to it would be the radio that my brother would always play. If home were a touch, it would be my soft blanket that I would always cuddle up in. Most people forget how special your home is, so I hope you don’t.
