The Five Senses Of Home

Home is where I eat, sleep and I grow up.I had my first memories like meeting my cousins and seeing my grandparents for the first time. I’ve had all 11 birthdays in my house with my family. Home is also where I feel safe and loved. I live in a town called Oro, where all the houses are spaced apart and almost everybody has a trampoline and pool in their backyard. And people have big front yards. I also live on a lake called lake simcoe and that is where I fish and go swimming. Ok now to the five senses. I smell the exhaust from the snowmobiles and dirt bikes. I also smell the fresh salty water from my pool and the seaweed from the lake. I smell the grass when it is being cut. I hear the wildlife and the trees when it is windy. I hear the ice breaking up in the spring and the ice forming in the beginning of the winter. I feel my soft and warm pillows and blankets, and my soft dog after a haircut. I feel the hot sand on my feet when I go to the beach and the sticky plastic park slides. I taste the warm soup on a cold winter day and the soft fluffy homemade bread that my mom makes for my and family. I also taste the warm fish that we catch from the lake. I feel happy when my Nanny and Poppy come over for a sleepover and I also love when I go for Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas dinner but the best part is when they go skiing with me. So This is my preference of the five senses of home.
