What is home?

What does home mean to me? Home means having a family Home means having a roof over my head so I can sleep. What else does home mean you might ask? Home means everything Without home we would be living out on the streets with rain falling on my head, without home I would be getting attacked by animals having no money you would be starving. Think of all the other people that have no home That are starving and they pray every night to get a job to get money or to get a drink They are even so grateful to get 10 cents. Another thing about home home Just having diner and breakfast and lunch with family Because it just feels so good to have a kitchen table where you can eat Not being poor and not able to eat. To me home is everything. Home is being able to sleep to have entertainment. Home is love. People have worked so hard and there are so many homes that have been built years ago. They are still held up today, that's how strong houses can be. Habitat for humanity is such an amazing society and it is crazy what people can do. This poem is written to those people who don't have a home and to that family that is getting a home built. I wish you the best of luck.
