Not Just A Structure

Home to me is not just a structure, it is the feelings,people,pets and the memories that make home home. My puppy makes me feel at home because when I touch her soft fur or when she snuggles me up close to me. When she does this I feel love,calm,happy and excited. My kind parents make me feel at home because I feel love when my Mom gives me hugs or when I feel happy when my Dad is funny. My amazing brother makes me feel at home because when I am sad he is always there to cheer me up. In my house there are a lot of memories like when my fun Dad teached me how to ride a bike. When we got my playful puppy. When I teached my brother how to get a bike with no training wheels. When I made warm treats with my wonderful Mom. I know even if we move are memories will always be with the people we love and did them with. The best part of my house is the good feelings like happy,calm,excited,funny,good,loving,friendly and safe. In my house I feel safe because I have my puppy,my brother and my parents. I know that they can protect me. Even if you did not have a structure you would still have a home but a structure is still very important because it keeps you warm in the winter and out of the cold snow. This is what home means to me the people,pets,feelings and memories. I know that Habitat for Humanity is going to more homes for people to love just how I love mine.
