The meaning of home to me is having a safe place to live and not many people experience a safe place to live. In my home there is always something going on such as cooking, the noises from the TV, and laughter. My mom’s parents' house burnt down when she was pregnant with me and it was a beautiful house. It was really sad for my mom to see it go. Many people lose their houses to kitchen fires or other fires just like how my mom lost hers. In my house we have a whole bunch of pets and I love them all so much. We have a chinchilla, two cats, a dog, and my pet fish. Thank you for giving other people a home. Some people really need it, such as the homeless people. When I see homeless people on the street it can be sad for me. I wish it was acknowledged more but the meaning of home contest does a great job of doing that.
