What is home? It’s where you feel loved by parents and close ones. A place that is a feeling where you build memories and a sense of peace and joy. Home provides protection in a good way that it feels like a safe place. You are most comfortable in this place and have privacy. Some households are temples with good spirits. This is an environment that everyone knows is welcome. Home isn’t just walls and bricks, this place holds itself together with the family. Home is a significantly meaningful place, and I love sharing it with my family. Although a home can be big or small, there is no place like home. During cold winter days many homes have a smell of freshly baked cookies with hot chocolate. It’s said that “Home is the starting place of love and dreams, yet a great home has positivity and a good mindset. It’s where you can call this place your own. Where your journey begins and never ends. Home is where the heart is, and will always be. It’s where you can be yourself, and always be free. It does take hands to build a house, but only hearts can build a home. This place is like a nest, where you are raised. I love my home and what makes it better is that I love sharing it with my family. Home can be a home as a name but really you can name your home anything you want that sounds nice. These days it’s hard to buy homes in Canada, that’s when Habitat for Humanity comes to help. It may take a lot of work to apply and help with the volunteers to make the house but in the end people can get a secure home, with affordable housing and upgrades.
