Meaning of Home

For me, the meaning of “home” is somewhere where we can go to comfort, that makes you cheerful and gives you an energy where you could be yourself around them. Each one of my friends are my home because they make me happy and without them, I wouldn't have the confidence and cheeriness I have today. “Home” for me also means the memories I have with the people I cherish. It’s like going to the beach with friends, laughing for no reason at all till our cheeks are sore, taking walks and spending every last coin in our pockets to buy something that is unnecessary. Home to me can also mean a fun party with a bunch of people gathered and sipping juice from a red plastic cup, including a little Jump-scare with the ear-piercing screech of the karaoke machine. It can also be the flabbergasting views that almost feels like Earth isn’t real. Looking at a sunset by the beach in Mexico made me feel like home because it made me feel relaxed which is the same thing I feel when I’m looking at the stars. Even my softball team is my home. A home isn’t always a structure!
