Home

The meaning of home to me is that home is not just a simple plain building, but that it is a place that everyone needs to have, a place that provides your needs and nicely welcomes you. Home warmly greets you because when you walk into your home you immediately feel safe and comforted, you feel snug and secure, toasty and not chilly unlike outside. Every person needs a private space where they can experience the time of quietness, coziness and relaxation with their loved ones. And what does home do? It gives you those things! Home is not just a simple building, it is a place that contains unlimited amounts of positive, memorable and cheerful moments of your life. Those touching memories may be simple but very loving and meaningful. Those memories are unique for every single person and they always stay in their heart even in a different home at an older age. Home is important and everyone should have one. Not everyone has one or appreciates it but it should be appreciated. I hope Habitat for Humanity will succeed in giving everyone a beautiful, cozy place to call home. That is not only my dream but the dream of lots of other people. Habitat for Humanity will one day make that come true because anyone has the power to do that. For example, Martin Luther King Jr made a big impact in changing people's perspectives, so anyone has the power to do so. Remember that home is not a simple building, it is very meaningful and gives you plenty of heartwarming, thoughtful things. Every person in the world deserves to have a home like this.
