The Meaning of Home

My home is safe, it’s comfy, it’s love and happiness. My home is safe. My parents protect me and my brother. My home keeps me warm when it’s a cold, dark snowy night. It feels soothing to know that I can go to bed without worrying about what dangers could be outside. I know that I’m safe in my home. My home is comfy. On dark cold nights I can sink into my comfortable couch and read with my mom while sipping delicious hot tea and milk with her. I can go to my cozy single bed to stay snuggly warm. My home is love and happiness. I am loved in my home. My parents tuck me into bed with an “I love you”. Home is where I feel the happiest. I love to be with my family. I have no idea what I would do without them. It feels good to have a brother that is fun to play tag with. Home is where I’m loved and where I love. My home is where I laugh so hard that water comes out of my nose. My family and I don’t always get along but we always love each other. I love my family so much. I’m grateful for a relaxing home to keep me safe and warm. I’m thankful to have a family who loves me and who helps me stay clean, healthy and warm like a baby in a blanket. I love my home.
