The Meaning of Home To me, the meaning of home is to feel safe, loved and cared for. Home is where I can go into my room and cuddle up in my bed. It is a place for a family gathering and where we laugh with the people we love. Home. It is in the neighborhood I know is safe and with friendly people who always say hi. It is where I grow up, go to school and where I feel welcome and confident. Home. It is in Halifax city. It is comfortable and inviting to everyone. It is inclusive and kind. Home. It is in the country Every Canadian calls home. I believe that every single one of us should have the privilege of having their own home so they feel comfortable and safe. It is important to know that home is always within you. This is my definition of home
