My Beautiful House

What does home mean to you? Home means having a safe space to stay knowing that my dog Gus is protecting our house when we're not there. Home is comforting like the taste of my mom's homemade cupcakes on my lips. Home is waking up to my dog's kisses, my little sister smiling at me and my family who always says good morning as soon as they see me. Home means Grandma's crocheted blanket and my favourite stuffed bunny waiting for me every night in my cozy bed. Home is a warm hug of hot chocolate with just the right amount of mini marshmallows after tobogganing with my family at our secret spot. Home is cuddles on the couch under a soft blanket while I watch a movie. Home means family dinner all together at our handmade table. Home means different things to different people but this is what home means to me.
