Meaning of Home

Have you ever seen a person sleeping outside? Well, if you have that is one out of thirty-five thousand people every single night. So today I will be taking about what makes a home to me. Firstly, I love having a roof over my head. It gets me sad that not everyone has a roof or a house to stay warm in. Especially since we live in Winnipeg and the cold in the winter and in summer how it is hot outside. Also, a shelter will help you get back on your feet. In Finland I like the idea that the government will give people a home before they get a job. In the United States you must get a job before you get a house, and it goes in a cycle repeatedly. Secondly, the most important thing in a home is your family. But it does not only have to be family it can be friends or cousins or an animal. To me a home is all about my family they are always there for you when you need it. Like if you are mad or sad, they will be there for you. Also, my family loves taking me places like we have been to Florida 3 times in the last 4 years. To me, home is not a thing it is being with people you love. My family is noticeably big if I counted all my cousins I would have over twenty cousins. I did lose two family members in the last 5 years, but my grandma just got married to a genuinely nice man named Karl So family is getting bigger which is crazy if you think about it so that is what is the most important thing in a home. And lastly. A home to me is where you can go home, and your pet is there and the people you love are right there for you. Every day when I get home, I see my siblings and my dad, and it is sad that some people to go home to no one. so home to me is all about my family if I did not have a family, I would be sad and I hope that everyone will get a family soon. My last paragraph is about. Home to me is to have my own spot to play around and have my friends over. Or have my family over. Also, to have my own room to put my stuff and a bed to sleep in and not a cardboard box. So, in conclusion a home is a feeling not just a house you have to have memories or to be around people you love like your family for it to be a home so if you want help change someone’s life then you should donate to habitat for humanity to help change people’s lives.
