My Feelings from Home

My Feelings from Home by Julia. L Home is an exclusive and valuable thing to have! Every home is different because every home is unique. At home, I feel my warm cozy blanket when I wake up from my slumber. My cute little fluffy cat rubbing on me to greet me while feeling the crusty bread from the grilled cheese I was about to devour. I feel the warm feeling while hugging my older sister goodbye for school. The sense of touch is an important thing to have. At home, I see my reflection in the mirror while I am blushing my teeth. I see my two little brothers sprinting across the kitchen and living room while yelling as loud as they can. When I wake early everything is dark and quiet but when the day continues it get brighter and brighter. The sense of sight is a beautiful thing to have! At home I hear my mom making me and my siblings’ lunch for school early in the morning, while I am listening to soft music and getting ready for the day. When it’s game night I can hear my family laughing, yelling, and eating snacks while my little brothers are fooling around in the background. The sense of hearing is an extraordinary thing to have. At home I can always smell a delightful new meal whenever my older sisters or my mom are in the kitchen. The fresh meaty smell coming from the kitchen when my mom’s cooking bacon, chicken, or ribs. The spicy lemony smell that burns my nose coming from the sauce for the delicious spring rolls my mother are frying. The sense of smell is a special thing to have. I taste crispy spicy sweet chips when I got back from a long exhausting day of school. The combination of lettuce and spicy noodles is a family favorite, for me it is because the flavor’s combine well. Everything tastes better when I share my snacks with my siblings whenever we are watching a movie. Not really but it is nice to know that I am spending quality time with my family because I could never know what could happen to my family. The sense of taste is an important thing to have.
