Meaning of Home

Meaning of Home Home means different things to different people, but to me, home is where my family is. It’s where my dog is always making a mess and running around with his toys, it's where my brother is always in his room studying, playing his video games or texting with friends and it’s where my family laughs, plays games, watches TV and has pajama days together. Home is safe and warm and where memories are made. Home smells like my mom and dad cooking or making dinner. It’s always noisy after school because we’re talking about what we did during our day and usually getting ready for hockey or gymnastics at the same time. My favorite place at home is my bedroom because it’s my own quiet space where I can relax after a long day at school or after gymnastics practice. If you ask someone what home means to them, they might say home is just an ordinary house on an ordinary street where ordinary people live, but to me, home means so much more. Home to me means a place where my family is together, I am loved and looked after and I am not alone.
