February 22, 2023 Natalie Home Home feels safe, kind, and cozy to me. When I walk into my home every day, I look at my dog and smile. I’m always excited to come home after school because while I’m in the car, I think about the delicious meal that my mother is going to make, and how much time she is going to put in it. My family has always been there for me, and I know that if I ever needed them, they would be there. Home is a word, but it is not just a word, it is a memory. It is a place where you feel happy and safe with your family, and you know you belong. Home is a feeling that takes you so far from where you are. It takes you to a place where you feel so thanked and appreciated. Home is my happy place.
