Home as Senses

If home were a sight, It would be a warm fireplace on a really cold winter night near Christmas while reading a book with your cat sleeping on your lap. If home were a sound, it would be the sound of your family laughing while watching a movie on a Friday night. If home were a feeling, it would be the feeling of me petting my cat while feeling her soft fluffy fur brushing against my hand. If home were a taste, It would be the taste of my moms homemade warm soup that she just made for supper. If home were a smell, it would be the smell of homemade christmas cookies that are just fresh out of the oven. I am very thankful for my home and the roof over my head. Clean running water and everything I have in there that some people can’t have. My family is my sunshine, and I can’t lose them. My love for my family is bigger than the world. When I’m home I feel safe and secure and I have my family to talk to. Habitat for humanity helps people find a home that’s safe and stable for them to live in, floor’s, a roof, and a comfortable bed to sleep in. Everybody should have a safe home like mine.
