Making Memories

The smell of freshly baked chocolate chip pancakes on the big wooden table. The feeling of happiness and gratefulness overwhelms you! The fun movie nights with too many overflowing bowls of popcorn. The surprise of waking up on Christmas morning to mountains of perfectly wrapped gifts under the tree. The sigh of relief when you come back home from school to sit down in your comfy bed. The long and fun car rides listening to music and singing along! The smile on your face when you find out that you are going on a special trip. We may have some fights with each other, but that doesn’t mean we don’t love one another. But most importantly, home is wherever my family is. My kind and caring mother, my funny and sweet father and also my three crazy brothers. Wherever they are and I am with them, I will always feel happy, safe and grateful. Because the truth is, life isn’t about how much money you have or how many pairs of shoes you have. It’s about making memories with the people that you love. So, thank you mom and dad, grandma and grandpa, and even all of my brothers; You are giving me the best years of my life! I can’t wait to keep on spending more time together and making memories together.
