What Home Means To Me

Do you have a safe place where you can go to be yourself, free and calm? For me, that place is home. H is for happy, O is for open minded, M is for magnificent, and E is for everyone welcome. When I go home at the end of the day, I am always greeted by the familiar feeling. The feeling that I am safe and loved. My home is my getaway place to paradise. Little kids often yell and cry about how they want to go home when they are upset or sad. Maybe it is a place of being safe and loved for them too. Home makes me feel like I am in the right place. Another thing I love about my home is that it has a familiar scent that I love. It smells just right. Not sour, not sweet, just right. That's what home means to me.
