Querencia - The Feeling of Home

Have you ever felt at home when you are not at home? Because I have. I usually feel at home at my grandma’s and Grandpa’s house playfully laughing or my cousin James playfully laughing. I feel at home not because of the place. Home is a feeling. One time I was furious (I do not remember why) when I was in my soft cozy bed and then I felt it. The feeling... of home. You can get the wonderful feeling in a crazy number of ways. Here are a couple of examples. You can feel at home because of the food, the people, the smells, noises, and places. I personally do not get the feeling of home from just one of these things on its own. It usually comes when there are multiple things coming together at the same time, like the smell coming out of the oven when my grandma is baking delicious cinnamon buns at her house. So that is some proof that home is not only a place but much more.
