A Favourite Place of Mine

A house is made of walls and beams but a home is made of love and dreams. In this speech, I will talk about my favourite aspects of my home, which are my backyard, my attic ,and my bed and bookshelf. On a warm summer day, I was having a picnic in my backyard with my brother (Luke) and my sister (Estelle). We had brought our sand toys outside to play in our sand pit, when our parents surprised us with a slip n slide. We set it up and attached the hose to the slide. We blew up the floaties and turned on the water then we set down the floaties and me and Estelle lay down on the floaties. Then we pushed off. We were zooming so fast I almost fell off my floatie then all of a sudden we both stopped at the same time. I like my bed and bookshelf because my bed provides me with a safe place to sleep and it is a comfy place to read my favourite books. My favourite books series are the Harry Potter series. I love to read those books on my bed because my blanket is soft and comfy. My last favourite place is the attic in my room because it is my quiet space when I want to read. I love my attic because I have decorated it with twinkling lights. My favourite aspects of my home are my backyard, my attic ,and my bed and bookshelf because they make me feel comfortable and cozy. As you can see, my home is a favourite place of mine.
