The Meaning Of Home

Do you have a home? How do you know it's your home? Here are some reasons why I call my house home. I stay dry in my house because my house has no place for the water and the cold get in But when I do get wet, like when I jump in the pool or I get wet in the rain I can go in my home and get a towel to help dry off faster. I am glad I have all these ways to keep me dry. I think we all should be happy to have a roof over our heads. Like when in the summer last year a thunderstorm happened. And it got me thinking how lucky we all are to have a house to keep us nice and warm when the bad weather comes to our house. My house is very nice and I stay warm all year around because when I do get cold I can just lie down under the blankets in my bed like one time when it was winter out and it was really cold so I went up to my bedroom and laid down. There are many different ways to warm up. And one of the good ways is to have a nice warm house. A house also means to have protection. We all have protection in our house because we have locked doors. And we have windows too. We have protection from the weather too because we have heating and when we do get cold we can just wear a sweater or go lie down in your bed. Like one it was really windy and it made me think how bad it would be to not have a home at a time like this.
