Home is Where I Belong

When I come inside from the cold my home keeps me warm and cozy. I have a wonderful shelter to keep me safe and protected and I know my family is safe. My home is my happy place where I can be myself with my family when I'm in my home I know God is always with me. I enjoy the things I have like clean food and water and I am thankful for what I have. I can see the clear sky and the beautiful sunsets I hear the peaceful wind blowing and I feel the cool air. There is no better feeling than than being at home with your family when we come home from school I feel so cheerful to be back. When I enter into my home I remember the things I love my pet hamster, my room, my family and everything inside. I'm happy to be in my friends house playing with them but I know I don't belong. Home is special to me because I'm with the people I love like my family, God, my pet hamster and all the things I love. In my backyard I can play with my sisters on our trampoline and I like to see how happy they are. We also have a fire pit to roast marshmallows and hotdogs. It is so fun.
