What Home Means to Me

Home is where your heart is. My home is a place that I can share memories with my family. The meaning of home to me is a place that my heart is and a place that my heart will always be. Home is a place that I can spend time with my family and pets. A safe place. Home to me is a safe place. I feel safe when I’m at home because I have a roof over my head. I know that when there is a storm, I have my family to be with. Lastly, I feel safe at home because I have a bed that I can sleep in when I’m tired. That’s why I feel safe at my home. Love, when I am at my home, I feel loved. I feel loved because I have a place to stay and socialize with my family and pets because I love my family. When I am sad at home, my parents comfort me. That’s why I feel loved when I am at my home with my family. Memories, when I am at home with my family, we make memories. We make memories by playing board games and having Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Halloween and Valentine’s Day. I make memories with my sisters when we play on our scooters and roller blades on the road in front of our house. When it is winter, me and my family make a luge in our back yard, we have done a luge every year since I was 3. That’s why I make memories at my home. Home, if you have a home, you are very lucky because some people in the world don’t have a home and I feel very bad for those people because you need a home to have a good life. As I said before home is where your heart is and that’s why I love my home.
