What is Home

WHAT IS HOME What is home? Home is like a warm, cozy, heated blanket. Once you're in it, you don’t wanna get out. Home isn’t just a place where YOU lay. It’s a place where memories lay too. Home is a place where I feel loved, safe, comforted, happy, free and it’s a place where I can be me. At home, we still have some rules and expectations like we do at school. Things like no swearing, obey family, always be kind and always treat family and friends with love. Speaking of love, I absolutely love my big home and big family that loves me back. People that live with me are my Mom and Dad, my brother, my Nana who helps around the house and watches over me and my brother, also my new kitten Pancake Home isn’t just a house. There is a HUGE difference! A home is a place to have emotional feelings, to feel love and be entertained. Things that keep me entertained are hanging out and playing with my family, helping around the house, video games with the boys, backyard hockey, singing and dancing. One of the best parts of my house is whenever I walk in the kitchen I smell the warm home-cooked meal. Whether it’s my favourite or not. In my opinion I think I’m really, really lucky to have the home I do.
