Meaning of Home

Sometimes people ask “what is a home?” and usually people say “it’s the roof under your head.” or “a place you live in.” but for me the meaning of home is different. In my opinion what makes a home for me is all the people I live with the memories I share with all the people I live with and all the things that I’m familiar with. At my home I always see a friendly face every time I enter my home and no matter what that always puts me in a great mood. I always feel safe like a being in a blanket and I feel joy filling up my home everyday and that feeling will never change. At my home I also hear laughter and everytime when I’m in a bad mood the second I hear a laugh it cheers me up and makes me smile. My home smells like my mom’s great food and when I smell her food that makes me really hungry so every day when I come back from a long day of school I can't wait to have dinner. At my home I taste my mom’s food and in my opinion I can't trade that for any other type of food in the world and I bet the rest of my family can agree. My home isn't always perfect but if I had the option I wouldn't trade my home for the world.
