This is Home

Home is a place where you can feel safe. Home can be a feeling. Before you were born your home was in your mom’s belly. Home can be your favourite place to chill, visit with friends, make fun memories, play, eat, dance, sing, act, read, have play dates, create, invent, imagine, cook, bake. You can even play sports like hockey, baseball, basketball, etc. Home can be your country. My home is Canada and Philippines. Ever since me and my siblings were born, we’ve been living in the same house, but a lot of furniture has changed; like our curtains, chairs, rooms, and we put stuff in different places. My dad likes the house we’re living in right now, but my mom wants to get a new house and move. What does home feel, look or smell like? What is home like for you?
