What is home?

I’ve always thought growing up that home is your house. Turns out it is far from that. Home can be a celebration Trying to stay up and catch Santa. Running down the stairs eagerly to see what Santa gave. Leaving the cookies and milk out for Santa. Finding the elf every morning. Home can be a feeling. The feeling of joy on the beach. The feeling of joy going to your cousins. The feeling of joy when watching a movie. The feeling of joy when having family dinner. Home can be a memory. Your 8th birthday party. Christmas of 2016. Sitting on the couch watching Moana. Eating popsicles in the summer. That’s why home is way more than you think it is.
