Home means to me

Home is the place to be happy, home is the place to be sad. Home is the place to feel all the emotions. Home is the place I feel safe and loved by my family. Home is the place to be myself. Home is the place I feel welcomed coming back from a long camping trip. Home is the warm taste of pizza in my mouth on Friday night. Home is the laughter I hear late on game night. Home is the place to have fun with my friends and my family. Home is my house, my street, my neighbourhood, my city, my province, all in my country, Canada. Home is the place for all these things. I am glad to have a home but I am sad that everyone does not get to feel the joy that I feel when I think of home.
