What Home Means to Me

A house is just a building, but home is a place you can go to for comfort. Home is a place where you can be yourself without the fear of anyone judging you. Home is a place where memories are made, and you can spend time with your family whenever you want. At home I like to spend time with my animals. I have a lot of animals, like nine chickens, two rats and a cat. Home is special because that’s where all your stuff is. If I lost my home, then it would be hard to live on the streets and even in a homeless shelter it wouldn’t be the same because you know it’s just not your home – it's not where you used to live. A homeless shelter can be loud, and it could be dangerous. My home is also special because I live close to my relatives, like my grandparents. I like living near them so I can spend time with them. Home is special to me because it’s mine.
