There is no place like home!

Home. A comforting place with my family. My mother, father, sister and dog. I am loved, safe and welcomed. A comfortable feeling. Laughter fills the air as me and my family rest at the toasty fireplace with hot chocolate and gingerbread as we watch a movie and share memories. It is comforting. I glance out the window as the bright snow gently showers down outside while the memories live and grow. Home. The beautiful nature. Flowers, trees and animals. A beautiful community. My school. A place where people will always be there for you no matter what. Your family, friends, and neighbours. A place where people are unique in their own way. That is where I want to be. Patience, honesty and an understanding place. I feel safe. Home. The different languages spoken around. Celebrations, and the different cultures. An amazing feeling goes around as people laugh together. I am grateful to be me. Home. I have privileges and blessings. A roof over my head, clean water to drink, and healthy food to eat. I am amazed with what I have. I am thankful.
