The Meaning of Home

“A home is more than a structure to hold belongings or shelter us from the elements. It’s where our very life is lived.” The meaning of home to me is when you feel comfortable, you feel safe and have lots of memories. To begin, I think the meaning of home is when you feel relaxed. For example, you have a decent house and a warm bed to sleep in, also you have a comforting family that will support you throughout your life. In addition, home is when you feel protected because you're not stressed. For instance, I am able to be myself around my family without being afraid. I can also express my emotions and tell them anything I need or want to my family without feeling judged. Lastly, I think the meaning of home is about memories from the past and present. Such as, your home holds many memories of your family in paintings, pictures and frames all around so you can remember memories from a long time ago. Overall, I think the meaning of home is feeling cozy, secure and having cheerful reminders in your home. What do you think the meaning of home is?
