The Meaning Of Home

Food is part of home because I know it's made with love, spice and tastes like paradise. My parents always spend time making delicious smelling meals with care. This makes me feel happy and healthy when I know I have enough food that’s scrumptious. The juicy hamburgers, soft pancakes and the nice macaroni. I like knowing that I can eat food without worrying about not having enough because I feel safe. Laughing at the dinner table makes me so happy because we're spending time together. This is why I enjoy having food and eating at the dinner table together. After eating a delightful meal, it’s time for the fun feels and that’s when board games or family video games come out. I often lose, but once in a while I win. When we finish the game, I always thank them for playing because I enjoy spending time with them and playing. Board games remind me of home because it is family fun. Also video games because we always do it in the family room. Sports is home to me because I know I'm not alone playing outside of my home in the front yard with my brother and I enjoy it very much. My parents drive me to sports and I enjoy hanging out with my friends, and friends mean home to me. I sometimes play soccer in the backyard with my brother and it’s fun. I go to rep sports and it’s fun. When I run it reminds me of running on my treadmill at home with my mom. That is the meaning of home to me and I know my parents love me because if they didn’t they wouldn’t be doing all of this great stuff for me.
