Feeling Safe at Home

My room is where I spend most of my time With a secure roof over my head I feel warm and safe here Surrounded by stuffies in my comfy bed When I feel anxious, I go to my room I take out Wings of Fire Lying down with my book in hand A story that will inspire My home is busy with lots of people Love, silliness and never giving up We find comfort in our home With siblings, parents and our pup Everyone deserves a safe place A place where they can learn A soft bed, yummy food and love Danger is never a concern I close my eyes and start to dream And know that everything I love Is always safe and protected Soaring free just like a dove
