Meaning of Home

What is home? A home is a place where I can feel safe and stay with family and at night I feel cozy and comfortable in my bed. When I wake up I am well rested and I can clean up, have something to eat, and get ready for the day. Firstly, a home to me means a place to feel safe and comfortable; where I can lie down on my bed knowing that I am safe. It's a place to lie down on my couch after a long day of school and be able to relax. To me, a home also means a place for peace and joy and to laugh with family and friends. Furthermore, a home is where I hang out with friends inside and play games and eat snacks. It is a place for hobbies such as painting pictures and watching TV while laughing and joking. I also hang out with friends outside and play hide & seek, play tag, or lay down on the grass in my backyard and feel happy. I never knew what home meant but now I finally know what it means. It just means a place to have fun with family or friends. Also, home is a place for being able to be relaxed and free and have peace and joy. People don’t always understand the idea of home and some sadly do not have a home to enjoy. Once you find a home, you will always know when you’re there.
