The Meaning of Home

Home is where your family takes care of you. At home I like to go dirt biking. My favorite place in my house is the living room. I feel safe there. My home is a place where I feel happy when I play with my dog. We like to play outside. I feel protected at home because I am with my family. We show kindness at home by not judging. When I walk in my house I feel calm. I help my mom by doing the dishwasher. I do all the laundry sometimes. I help my dad with hammering wood. Shelter is when we have food and water. My home protects us from snow, rain and thunderstorms. My house gives me a place to have a bed. Our home gives me a place to have family dinner. My home gives me a place to celebrate Thanksgiving. My family plays games at home together; we play Uno and Garbage. We get to have chips, popcorn, and icecream. Without my home I would live in a hotel. I am grateful for my home.
